We've been traveling a lot and incredibly busy since October 2007 therefore I never put time into this webpage, however, I've been inspired by my 20th high school reunion conversations with friends and other bloggers on this website to carry on with this blogspot. I've titled this blog "August Rush" because my kids started school this week. We had lots of fun things to cram in before school started like water skiing, Biking, going to Lagoon, water parks and late nights with friends. We also started WFFL football. Mark, my 11 year old, is starting wide receiver, safety and kicker. Last year, he led the team in touchdowns and interceptions. He's already off to a great start scoring the first touchdown of the season and a few more following that and he's only played two games! I was asked to be the team mom this year and my husband, Danny is in charge of coaching special teams. Being the team mom means I'm in charge of getting the parents to fulfill the many volunteer positions and recruiting younger siblings to be our spirit squad. I bought shiny metallic poms poms for the girls and made posters for the boys at the last game and the little cheerleaders were so awesome! They gave it their all cheering and dancing for almost two solid hours and they were so cute! It's been heaps of work but I love it! I'm also a cub scout leader so I need to get that going strong again since summer slowed us down because of traveling. It's after 4am so I better wrap this up!
